Daniel Radcliffe shares a smolder in these new images MTV shared today from “Kill Your Darlings”. The film fest favorite follows a few writers you may have heard of: Allen Ginsberg (Radcliffe), Jack Kerouac (Jack Hutson), and William Burroughs (Ben Foster). They may be iconic now, but in the 1940s they were just struggling young artists brought together by Dane DeHaan’s magnetic Lucien Carr, a figure mostly lost to history but pivotal to the formation of the Beat generation. Elizabeth Olsen and Michael C. Hall also star in the film, which revolves around obsession and murder.
“Kill Your Darlings” has been getting widespread good reviews, especially for first time feature director and writer John Krokidas, and DeHaan’s exuberant performance as Carr. The film is set to be released on October 18th after playing the Toronto International Film Festival.
See the new images below and be sure to check out the previously released first trailer and clip as well.
