Deadline reports that British supermodel Cara Delevingne, 21, is in talks for roles in both Justin Chadwick‘s 17th century-set romance “Tulip Fever” and Joe Wright‘s Peter Pan prequel “Pan.”
Delevingne is up for the role of Henrietta in “Tulip Fever,” an adaptation of Deborah Moggach’s 1999 best-seller, which depicts the affair between the young wife (Alicia Vikander) of an aristocrat and an artist (Dane DeHaan) who is hired to paint their portrait. As for her role in “Pan,” it is also apparently just a small part. The film, which includes Garrett Hedlund as Captain Hook, Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily and Amanda Seyfried as Mary, is the origin story of Peter Pan (Levi Miller) from his time as an orphan journeying into Neverland to his friendship with a young Hook.
Despite being one of the most in-demand models in fashion, Delevingne has been steadily dabbling more and more in the film industry. She made her acting debut in 2012 as Princess Sorokina in Wright’s late-19th-century Russian period drama “Anna Karenina” and will next star alongside Theo James in Mathew Cullen’s thriller “London Fields,” with Will Poulter in Chris Foggin’s “Kids in Love,” and with Daniel Bruhl in Michael Winterbottom’s Amanda Knox drama “The Face of an Angel.”
